My New Year’s resolution? To use more of my potential, avoiding an unfulfilled, regretful future.
What about you?
My New Year’s resolution? To use more of my potential, avoiding an unfulfilled, regretful future.
What about you?
With the arrival of a new year inevitably comes a variety of new year’s “resolutions.” We vow to better ourselves through losing weight, quitting smoking, stop procrastinating, and so on. But how may we improve ourselves as pet owners? What new year’s resolutions should dog owners consider? Here are 13 suggestions for your consideration.
My lofty, broader goals to Create, Contribute, and Challenge are great and all, but what about specific, everyday goals? Here they are:
Ever felt like you were meant to do greater things? I do. Here’s what I’m going to do about it in 2010.
Quit passively consuming what is sold to you from every direction. Too often, we buy/use other people’s creations. Make the things you wished someone else would. If that means learning a new skill, do it. Create extra choices and options for yourself and others.
Be a giver in society, not just a receiver. Creation is just one way to contribute. Take a more active role in the views you support. Help individuals and groups you might normally have ignored or overlooked in the past. Leave a mark not for vanity, but to leave a meaningful contribution that inspires others to do the same.
Never be satisfied. Want and expect more from yourself and others. Find answers for yourself instead of asking others. If you want more out of life, get more out of yourself.
