OK, so the country is once again split. Will there be more fear-mongering from conservative media and self-fullfilling prophesy of obstructionism from politicians on the right? Can the left stop gloating before the year is up? Because that’s a perfect and well-tuned recipe for grinding work to a halt, and there are serious challenges ahead, requiring cooperation and compromise. The only way to get ahead is together.
